Periklis Giovas

Periklis Giovas is an Internal Medicine Specialist, trained at the 3rd Department of Internal Medicine, University of Athens, where he also graduated from the Medical School. He has collaborated with the Stride Hellas – 7 Hypertension Center and the e-Health Unit at "Sotiria" Hospital.

His doctoral thesis focused on hypertension in children and adolescents. He has conducted cardiovascular clinical research in both Greece and Switzerland, with publications in peer-reviewed international journals. He was involved in the early development of digital health in Greece, starting in 1994. He has held advisory, research, and managerial roles at leading biotechnology companies, both in Greece and internationally. Additionally, he coordinated a series of publications focused on raising public awareness about cardiovascular protection.
